How strong is the connection between the Isamu Noguchi's design of the akari lamps with Constantin Brancusi? - noguchi lamps

Be Noguchi was his apprentice for several months in Paris, but what someone has an idea about a little more information, or the kinds of things that are not related to www.noguchi.org site?

  1. I would say that the connection is very strong, partly due to the decades that passed between the work of Brancusi and Noguchi design lamps. In reality, they are much more influenced by traditional Japanese crafts, which were tested, and designs, "biomorphic" of the past decade.

However, it is interesting to note that some of Noguchi lamps describes as a "perch", "light as a feather," suggests that birds whch sees qualities in them, and a course of Brancusi think immediately thereafter.
